I finally finished building the jet in the picture. It's a Stryker F-27B. Tomorrow (winds permitting) I'll try and send it up into the air and see how she performs. Keep your fingers crossed. I'm completely confident I can fly it, just depends on how good of a job I did building it. I'll let you know in my next post.

The weather this week has been typical of early winter/later fall. Rain mixed with snow and occasionally just snow. This evening we got some rain with thunder and lightening mixed in. Tomorrow is looking nice but it turns ugly again Sunday and Monday.

The only other plans this weekend is some house cleaning and perhaps maybe going out tomorrow evening and try some walleye fishing from the pier in Huron.

Work was the same as usual. Just doing the same job except more of it and for less pay. Nice to see the American dream is heading down the toilet. I've already excepted the fact I'll never be rich, but at least I'm happy for the most part. The rest of the week I just spent watching DOG The Canadian hunter try to get out of the mess he created for him self. I do believe he deserves a second chance. I realize that Al Sharpton and company buried the "N" word at a ceremony in Detroit this year. However I'm worried because I think my house is haunted. While they may have buried it, it seems to show up at my house all the time, leading me to believe my house is haunted.lol. Oh well.

Hopefully I'll be able to write again this weekend and say my plane past the test and flew well.

Okay, I think this might just be my favorite aircraft. It's awesome. Looks like you did a really great job. Here's hoping it flies well for you. I'll be looking for an update on how it went.

And, a little known fact about me. I *love* DOG. Here's what I shared with a discussion group from my humble (okay, not so humble, lol) point of view.

I can't imagine the struggle to rise above a past like his, especially in a line of work that keeps him so intimately connected to it. He once made a comment that he needed to work on the opposite side of the law (the right side) to avoid falling back into his old ways; that by working FOR the system, he might stay out of it (something to that effect). Where his faith is concerned, Dog may never appear as refined as some think he should be. I could go to high tea with the Queen every single day and yet my formal manners would never seem as polished as hers.
Cycles of dysfunction, addiction, etc., are very hard to break and equally as hard to rise above. Dog, imho, has been doing so successfully, albeit one very small step at a time. I do think his faith has helped him to continue to make those tiny steps. Perhaps this incident will cause him to step more broadly? Oh, and I think it seems odd that the media calls it "the n word" when they don't tip-toe around other cuss words. Political correctness is definitely its own mask of sorts, not unlike the one removed from Dog's face via the release of this private conversation.

And there you have it. My take on the Dog. And I didn't know Al Sharpton buried that word. Wow, interesting ceremony. Hannity tried to get some AA guy to admit that ALL must be racist if they use the word, including AA's who use it on one another (since the AA guy insisted Dog is racist for using it). The AA guy refused to agree, saying that AA's have a "historical context in which to use it." Huh??? So it's majorly offensive but they can claim it and use it for its historical value? Okay then. Not quite getting that.
Love ya,
Pone
