The first Tomcat carrier landing was on Cv-59 Uss Forrestal and the delivery of the first Tomcat was made in June 1972 and was first given to VF-1 Wolfpack (my squadron) and VF-2 Bounty Hunters. (Our sister squadron). These were the first two Tomcat squadrons. They first served on CVN 65 the USS Enterprise.
